Yoga Nidra is the ancient art of MindBody relaxation that sow the seeds for meditation. Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation done in shavasana, is a curative therapy to help heal stress related diseases, reduce insomnia, anxiety, and high blood pressure. This deep mind body relaxation provides effective relief for depression and clears the mind for creative thought. It also heals the physical, mental and emotional body. This transformative experience will leave you very calm, and will inspire you. Yoga Nidra is a segway for meditation. We incorporate breath work and visualizations into our Yoga Nidra practice. The practice is a method to train the mind for meditation. It is said, “the mind is like a naughty child. When you ask it to go inside, it wants to stay outside and play.” The mind is a like muscle and we train and strengthen it, like all other muscles in our body.
